Public Storage - Fairfield - 1296 Kings Highway Cutoff

Fool me once

I've been a customer since 2019 and I have paid over $10K in rent and insurance. My 10 by 20 unit cost me close to $500 a month by the time I moved out this April. When I went to empty my unit, I found many of my items covered in vermin droppings and urine and even a dead mouse body for good measure.

I filed a claim only to be told the insurance policy does not cover vermin, but they were willing to pay up to $250 to "cover" what I lost...oh and I am responsible for disposing the vermin infested items that were a direct result of their lack of pest control. I really wish they told me that there is zero pest control before I signed up.

I'm not sure if this is how all Public Storage properties operate but STAY AWAY from the public storage in Fairfield CT unless you want to pay a lot of money to have your materials damaged as was my experience.

My things got stuck in the elevator and your stuff put it in the bin once the elevator was able to be operational again they stacked it nice and neat he was amazing

First time using a storage unit

Move in was very easy once i found the unit. There were carts you could use to load your items onto to transport them from the driveway to your unit.
